Criteria: University of Utah Engineering day will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. High School students and their parents are welcome to attend. Criteria: This scholarship is designed for females who will attend the University of Utah fall semester of 2021 and major in science, math or engineering. Students who are awarded this scholarship will be required to attend the seven-week University of Utah course, UGS 1430 Integrated Science during the summer of their first year at the University of Utah, which can be applied to their general education requirements. The application must be filled out and sent along with a personal essay of 500 words or less expressing your interest in math and/or science and your career goals, a resume, and an official high school transcript, including the second semester, senior year classes. All applicants must request two letters of recommendation, with at least one letter from a science teacher, to be sent directly from the teacher to the College of Science. Criteria: Engineering State for 2021 will be held as a day camp. It includes a light breakfast,
hands-on workshops, campus tours, and lunch. Applicant must be a current junior in
