​What is CTE?

Today’s cutting-edge, rigorous and relevant career and technical education (CTE) prepares youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers. CTE provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO)

​With 2,027,880 student members combined, Career and Technical Student Organizations integrate into Career and Technical Education programs and courses across the country. CTSOs extend teaching and learning through innovative programs, business and community partnerships and leadership experiences at the school, state and national levels.

Career and Technical Education Scholarship

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarships and Tuition Awards are for outstanding CTE students. The scholarships/awards are sponsored by the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) with funds provided by participating higher education institutions.​ Click the images below for the CTE Scholarship Application & Instructions for filling out the application.
