WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY DREAM WEBER
Criteria: Applicant must be a senior in high school planning to attend Weber State University in the fall of 2024. Applicant must have a household income of $50,000.00 or less and qualify for a federal pell grant. Applicant must apply for admission to Weber State University, and complete the FAFSA application by April 1, complete the WSU Financial Aid Application by May 1, and complete the WSU Scholarship Application by May 1. Applicant will be automatically considered for the Dream Weber Program when the WSU financial aid office receives their results directly from FAFSA and processes their other applications. Recipient must maintain a course load of 12 to 18 credit hours each semester.

THE EXPLORE MORE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH MINING ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Applicant must be an incoming Freshman with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a strong
background in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Participation in extracurricular
activities and leadership will also be considered in the selection process. Applicant must
be accepted to the University of Utah and major in Mining Engineering and follow the

Criteria: Applicant must apply for admission to the University of Utah by December 1 to be considered for the Honors College or the Freshman Business Scholars Program. The application for admission to the University of Utah is the same application used for the Freshman Business Scholars and the Honors College. UNIVERSITY OF UTAH SCHOOL OF MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Scholarships are available to students who wish to attend the U of U School of Music. Auditions will be held for scholarship awards and acceptance into the music program for fall semester 2023. Audition dates are Saturday, January 28, 2023 and Saturday, February 15, 2023. Students must complete a music scholarship application, attend an audition, and submit three letters of recommendation. UNIVERSITY OF UTAH MODERN DANCE SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS
Criteria: To enter the Modern Dance Undergraduate Program at the University of Utah and for a dance scholarship, students must submit an application and participate in an audition. Video auditions will be accepted only rom those who are unable to attend one of the live audition dates. Students must also apply and be accepted to attend the University of Utah by April 1, 2023. A video of a 2-minute solo from phases taught by course instructors will need to be submitted.

SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY
Criteria: Scholarships are available in many areas, including Academic (President’s, Fellow’s, Founders’, Deans’, Centurium), Leadership, Native American, Sterling Scholar, Talent, Departmental, Athletic, Terrell H. Bell Teaching Incentive, Private and Army ROTC. The criteria will vary according to the scholarship applied for. CONGRESS BUNDESTAG YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM (15-18 ½ years of age)
Criteria: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students can apply even if they do not speak German. This program provides an opportunity for U.S. high school students or graduates to be adventuresome and live in Germany for one year, attend school and have a foreign exchange experience. This is a “Young Adult” program, which seeks to enroll students who have demonstrated maturity and responsibility. It will require two months of extensive German language preparation plus it will cost the student between $300.00 and $500.00 spending money per month. BYU SCHOLARSHIPS
Criteria The BYU Financial Aid Office offers academic, need-based, and private scholarships. BYU departments and colleges have various scholarships available too. By submitting the CES application for admission, new freshman students will be considered for academic scholarships. To be considered for other awards, the student must complete the online scholarship application. Applicant must complete the optional sections of the scholarship application to be considered for all possible scholarships awarded through the Financial Aid Office. If the final optional section is completed, the applicant will be considered for those specific scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, high school GPA, financial need, and personal criteria. The free application for FAFSA needs to be completed by January 20, 2022 to be considered for financial need based scholarships. For the Russell M. Nelson Presidential Scholarship, the student needs to maintain a BYU GPA of 3.6 or higher.

OVERACHIEVERS STUDENT GRANT
Criteria: Applicant must be in high school and be a person who makes a difference in the lives of other people outside of the classroom. SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP WEEKEND – FEBRUARY 11-12, 2022
Criteria: Applicants must be currently seniors in high school. The SUU leadership weekend offers students a chance to see what life at SUU is like as a student leader and to be chosen to fill available leadership positions. Presidential Ambassadors will help with admissions and recruitment at SUU. Students must complete the Admission Process, complete the Leadership Resume, and complete the Leadership Weekend Application. A student must submit a video resume or sign up and participate in a preliminary interview. The interviews must be scheduled by calling the Welcome Center at 435-586-7741 during regular business hours. The interviews will take place in February 2022. The SUU Leadership Weekend will be held February 11-12, 2022. An invitation to attend will be sent to finalists. Finalists are required to attend the entire weekend. Arrangements can be made for those students who cannot attend the Leadership weekend. Students attending will have an advantage on being chosen for the leadership positions. Entry may be the work of an individual student with a disability or a group of five students which includes at least one student with a disability. NAVY ROTC
Criteria: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is 17 years old by September 1 of their first year of college. Applicant must be a high school graduate by August 1 of the same year that entrance into the four-year NROTC Program is anticipated. Applicant must have a minimum ACT score of 22 in English and 21 in Math and a combined Math and English score of 47 or have an SAT score of 540 on Math and 550 on Evidence Based Reading and Writing and a 1200 Combined score. Criteria The BYU Financial Aid Office offers academic, need-based, and private scholarships. BYU departments and colleges have various scholarships available too. AMERICAN LEGION ORATORICAL CONTEST

NAVY ROTC
Criteria: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is 17 years old by September 1 of their first year of college. Applicant must be a high school graduate by August 1 of the same year that entrance into the four-year NROTC Program is anticipated. Applicant must have a minimum ACT score of 22 in English and 21 in Math and a combined Math and English score of 47 or have an SAT score of 540 on Math and 550 on Evidence Based Reading and Writing and a 1200 Combined score. Other opportunities are available if the academic criteria is not met. Applicant must be physically qualified by Navy standards. Applicant must apply and be admitted to an approved NAVY NROTC college or University before the scholarship can be awarded.

Criteria: Applicant must be a member of the NFAA or the NAA/USA Archers to apply. If the
student is in high school, a minimum 2.0 GPA must be maintained to qualify for the

college or university or a technical training college. Other high school students may
apply and the scholarship will be held until they graduate from high school. Scholarship

2022 UTAH JUMPSTART COALITION/UHEAA – AMERICA FIRST CREDIT UNION
Criteria: Applicant must be a senior in high school who has successfully completed or is currently enrolled in the financial literacy course required for graduation. Applicant must plan to pursue a post-secondary education. Applicant must complete the FAFSA application and submit a creative 60 second video answering “What are three important skills you learned in your Financial Literacy Course and how will those three things prepare me for college and life after college?” Applicant must also write a few sentences that provide positive feedback about their financial literacy teacher and how the teacher helped them master the concepts of financial literacy. Applicant must demonstrate a solid understanding of Financial Literacy Concepts.
