Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident of the U.S., or have refugee or asylum status in the U.S. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must have taken the ACT and have an exam composite score of 18 or higher in each category or have taken the SAT and have a math score of 490 or higher and a critical reading score of 490 or higher. UNIVERSITY OF UTAH ENGINEERING DAY 2023 – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2023
Criteria: University of Utah Engineering Day will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MST. High School students and their parents are welcome to
attend. All students must register online for the Engineering Day. Parents do not need to
register. There will be special sessions about admissions, financial aid, and more.
Students will have the opportunity to tour labs and facilities, learn about the latest
research at the University of Utah, engage in exciting presentations and demonstrations
and meet with academic advisors. Students will be able to learn about engineering
opportunities like biomedical, chemical, civil, computer science, electrical, geological
materials science, mechanical, metallurgical, and mining. This is in-person at the

Criteria: Southern Utah University Overnight allows high school students to experience life at SUU. Students arrive on the Southern Utah University campus where they will be paired with a SUU student. Participants will learn about classes and scholarships, eat with students, stay overnight and attend a SUU activity.
